TERMS
OF PERMANENT REFERRALS
Dental Professionals
provides a free service to our applicants/employees. All fees are
agreed upon to be paid by the employer. In return, we ask that you,
the applicant/employee wholeheartedly support our "terms of
referral". We operate on a Gentleman's Agreement and hope you
will honor our policies.
In the past, we have
lost considerable business when the employers have utilized our
applicants/employees without notifying our office.
We depend upon you to
contact our office in the event our clients wish you to do a working
try out or return on a temporary basis within our 6 month policy.
Any referral we give you will be valid for six months following
the referral date recorded in our office. For example, if we refer
you to Dr. John Doe on June 20, 1998 and you accept permanent or
temporary work for them any time prior to December 20, 1998, you
would be subject to Dental Professionals terms of referral and need
to inform our company of any such agreements. The 6 month policy
protects our company, enabling us to remain in business and continue
our service to you.
When doing a try out
or working as a temporary through our service, you will need to
inform our office. Also you will need to fill out a time sheet and
mail the signed top two copies to Dental Professionals immediately.
Dental Professionals will provide you with timesheets upon calling
our office. You may work several try outs for different clients
before you accept a job offer. All job try outs must be paid by
the client/employer and there is a four hour minimum for your time
worked.
It is very important
that our applicants/employees keep good records of referral dates
to our clients. We ask that upon contacting our clients regarding
the permanent job referrals, you please identify yourself as referred
to the position by Dental Professionals. In stating this fact when
initially contacting the office, you could help in avoiding a potential
problem later when our company requests payment for services rendered
if you were to take their job.
If we should refer you
to a client regarding work and you have already contacted the client
through another source, you need to inform us ASAP as to avoid complications
later when we charge our service fee to the client. Failure to do
this will mean you are accepting the job as being "REFERRED
BY DENTAL PROFESSIONALS".
All job referrals will
be given to you verbally or sent to you in the mail. Verbal referrals
will always be followed up with a written copy also. Unless your
job search is confidential, we will be giving your name to prospective
employers. Within five days after receiving your referrals, you
should contact the employers and let them know immediately Dental
Professionals referred you to the position. Failure to contact the
employer would reflect negatively on our company.
We ask that you provide
our clients with a resume at the time of an interview. If you are
requested to mail your resume, please note to the client you were
referred by Dental Professionals. We ask that you present yourself
professionally since first impressions will reflect on our company.
If you cannot keep your interview appointment, please be courteous
and give 24 hour notice to cancel.
Please keep your commitment
for any working tryouts or contact our office if you need to cancel
on short notice. Please contact or call our office if you have any
changes in address, telephone number, or job status. In return for
our free service to you, we hope that if you find a job through
our service or another service, you will notify us to update/inactive
your records.
We will be glad to help
you with temporary work while you look for a permanent job. An orientation
appointment will be necessary to inform you of how our temporary
system works. We also will be glad to provide you with any additional
free general information regarding your job search. If you need
more extensive help in writing a resume, there would be a fee for
this service.
We have tried to design
a program that will help you optimize finding the "right"
job. This is accomplished by informing the employer that you will
need to work as a "temporary tryout" first. Therefore,
if the client offers you a permanent job, the first 112.5 hours
are considered temporary and you are free to change your mind if
it proves not to be the right job for you. The employer also has
this option if he/she feels you are not a satisfactory employee.
We charge the employer for any hours you work up to the maximum
of 112.5 hours. It is very important that you inform us of your
try out hours.
It is our wish that you
are able to find employment that will be fulfilling to you and enhance
your special talents.
